Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs reviews with his Bahraini counterpart aspects of cooperation
Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, met with Nawaf Al-Maawdah, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments in the neighboring Kingdom of Bahrain, today at the Ministry’s Riyadh headquarters.
The meeting reviewed the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in the areas of serving Islam and Muslims around the world.
it also discussed activating the memorandum of cooperation concluded between the two ministries in the fields of Islamic affairs and the training and rehabilitation of imams and preachers.
The process of implementing advocacy programs concerned with spreading moderation and countering hate speech, extremism, and terrorism was also discussed.
Al-Sheikh stressed in a press statement after the meeting that the Kingdom is working to spread the values ​​of Islam following the Noble Qur’an and Sunnah
The Minister of Justice of the Kingdom of Bahrain clarified that the Kingdom of Bahrain is keen to activate cooperation in areas that serve Islamic work
It seeks to benefit from the Kingdom’s experience in this regard, pointing to the consensus in various fields of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in everything that serves Islamic work in its various fields.
