Saudi Health Ministry to Introduce Inaugural ‘Walk 30 League’ Starting March 11

The Ministry of Health will launch the first-ever Saudi Walking League, titled the “Walk 30 League,” from March 11 to 15. This initiative is part of the ministry’s ongoing “Walk 30” campaign, which promotes a healthy lifestyle and supports the objectives of Vision 2030.

Teams consisting of 4 to 7 members can register between March 8 and 11. Participants will be encouraged to walk for 30 minutes daily, equivalent to approximately 8,000 steps.

Walk 30 League

The league will culminate in a closing ceremony on April 26, coinciding with the fifth edition of the campaign. The event will include prize giveaways facilitated through the “Sehhaty” app.

The nationwide “Walk 30” campaign strives to raise life expectancy to 80 years by 2030. Over its previous four seasons, the campaign has successfully encouraged individuals of all age groups to engage in regular physical activity.
