Saudi Hajj begins receiving requests to perform rituals

Through a specialized Internet platform, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah started to accept applications for people seeking to conduct the Hajj procedures this year.

Those interested in performing the fifth corner ritual can choose from three packages through the online booking procedure.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia revealed that they will launch the electronic portal for citizens and residents of the Kingdom at 10:00pm on Wednesday.

According to the ministry, registration will be available throughout the term, with no preference given to those who register early.

However, the pilgrimage will be limited to age groups from 18 to 65 years who have received the coronavirus vaccine. In addition, those who intend to do Hajj this year must be free of chronic ailments.

Despite the availability of immunizations, the world is still suffering from the current epidemic, according to Saudi Minister of Health Tawfiq Al-Rabiah. Moreover, the number of cases, both standard and mutant, is increasing in some nations.

“We are concerned that it does not spread among pilgrims,” the minister stated at a press conference.
