
Saudi gifted students achieved remarkable success in 2025, earning 129 international awards across 26 Olympiads and the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), according to the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba).
This accomplishment, realized in partnership with the Ministry of Education, helped Saudi teams maintain their second-place ranking at the ISEF, contributing to a total of 996 awards in global scientific competitions by the end of the year.

Mawhiba’s report noted that over 31,000 students participated in its programs, with more than 14,000 engaged in academic and research initiatives through 105 local and international programs, in collaboration with 70 academic and scientific institutions across 24 cities.
A major milestone was reached as registration for the National Program for Gifted Identification surpassed 95,000 students this year. Additionally, the Mawhiba Advanced Program for Science and Mathematics supported over 2,770 students in 100 cities and governorates, fostering their expertise in science and mathematics.

As a non-profit foundation, Mawhiba is committed to nurturing gifted students locally, regionally, and internationally, providing a globally recognized methodology to cultivate high performance, creativity, and innovation.
