Saudi Fund for Development CEO discusses with Shinjiro the projects in Burundi
The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshed, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the Republic of Burundi, Albert Shinjiro.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the existing development projects financed by the Fund in the Republic of Burundi.
Shinjiro expressed his thanks to the Kingdom’s government for its contribution and support to development projects in the Republic of Burundi through the Saudi Fund for Development, which works to achieve sustainable development goals.
It is noteworthy that the Kingdom’s government, through the Saudi Fund for Development, provided (13) soft loans to contribute to the implementation of development projects in various sectors, including the sectors of infrastructure, transport, and education, in addition to its efforts to support economic and social development in various developing countries.
The Saudi Fund for Development is one of the largest active entities in providing development assistance. Since 1975, it has contributed to helping achieve stability and prosperity for many developing countries, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its objectives of achieving prosperity and providing social and economic support to developing countries.
