Saudi Embassy Clarifies on Bali Island Entrance Tax

The Saudi Arabian Embassy in Jakarta has issued a statement clarifying a recent decision by the Bali island government in Indonesia.The decision involves the implementation of an entrance tax for tourists visiting Bali Island .

This tax, amounting to 37 Saudi Riyals, is required for all visitors and must be paid electronically through the official website provided by the Bali government in Arabic.

Details of Tax

According to the Embassy’s announcement, the Bali regional government in Indonesia has instituted a tax specifically targeting foreign tourists. Equally important, the tax is set at 150,000 Indonesian Rupiah, which equates to approximately 37 Saudi Riyals or 10 US dollars.

Besides, this new regulation came into effect on February 14, 2024. It impacts all tourists arriving on the island from that date onward.
