The two sides also expressed concern about threats to the region, including Iran’s behavior.

While Sunak stressed his hope to continue working with Saudi Arabia to stabilize energy markets.

He is scheduled to visit some Asian countries to strengthen relations with them, as part of an Asian tour.

This is because it indicated that the participating countries, including Russia, would condemn the economic repercussions of the ongoing war in Ukraine. The majority of member states would condemn this.

The draft pointed out that most of the participating countries emphasized that the Ukrainian war had caused enormous human suffering. This exacerbated the fragility that the global economy was already suffering from.

The draft also included a call to extend the grain agreement concluded with Russia months ago, which expires on Saturday.

Moreover, the draft pointed out that there are “other views” that “the G20 is not the platform dedicated to resolving security issues”, but the member states acknowledged that security issues “may carry significant consequences for the global economy.”

The document, which the leaders of the countries of the group must approve before it is officially issued after the summit tomorrow, Wednesday, warned that “today’s era should not be an era of war.”

It also warned that the use or threat of nuclear weapons is “unacceptable” after Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously indicated the possibility of resorting to them.

In addition to the Russian file, the G-20 will discuss food and energy security and will issue announcements on initiatives related to the Epidemic Control Fund, the reform of multilateral development banks, and others.
