In addition, Prince Mohammed met with Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye and Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, expanding Saudi Arabia’s partnerships with global leaders.
Support Amid Regional Tensions
Both leaders voiced concern over the recent Israeli aggression in the region, acknowledging the widespread destruction it has caused. They reaffirmed solidarity, with Sharif extending prayers for Saudi King Salman’s health and praising the hospitality extended by the Saudi government.
Strengthened Economic Commitments
The discussion revisited a $5 billion Saudi investment package for Pakistan, initially discussed during Prime Minister Sharif’s April visit. This investment package is designed to strengthen Pakistan’s infrastructure and enhance its overall economic resilience and stability.
It represents a new era in Pakistan-Saudi relations, emphasizing shared growth and long-term regional stability for both countries. The focus on mutual growth highlights both nations’ commitment to fostering sustained economic and infrastructural development through strategic collaboration.
