Saudi Aramco establishes a new center for people with disabilities in Al-Ahsa

The President of Saudi Aramco, Eng. Amin Al-Nasser announced the establishment of a large center for people with disabilities in Al-Ahsa.

Al-Nasser indicated that the center will provide qualitative educational, therapeutic, and behavioral services with international standards.

The center will provide technical and vocational training opportunities for people with different disabilities.

This came during the opening ceremony of the Investment Forum, which is organized by the Al-Ahsa Chamber, in its sixth session

A number of ministers, officials, experts, advisors, and a group of local and international company heads and executives participated in the inauguration.

The participation of Saudi Aramco comes as the strategic partner of the forum, as it aims to highlight its role in supporting investment opportunities in the energy sector and economic development in the Kingdom.

It is worth noting that the new center is being built in two phases. The first phase is expected to accommodate 330 male and female students, and it is planned to end in 2025.

The plans for the second phase include the same number, with a total of 660 beneficiaries.

The center is expected to cover an area of more than 60,000 square meters, in the heart of Saudi Aramco’s Mubarraz complex.

Al-Nasser said, “Saudi Aramco seeks to focus on the capabilities of our sons and daughters with disabilities, and to rehabilitate, train and provide them with skills that enable them to enter the labor market and live a decent life.”
