Saudi Arabia’s first all-female crew takes flight
A state of happiness was felt by the pioneers of the Saudi networking sites, after announcing a historic event for Saudi Arabia’s budget carrier Flyadeal.
The airline launched a flight, its all crew members are women, and most of them are Saudis as well, and the airline responsible for the flight stated all the details.
The Saudi airline tweeted, saying: “A historic event for Saudi aviation, flyadeal is unique in operating the first flight in the Kingdom’s skies with an all-female crew, the majority of whom are Saudis.
This was onboard the latest A320 aircraft, which flew the 117th flight from Riyadh to Jeddah.”
Attached is a photo of the entire crew of women in uniform, with one veiled among them.
The plane’s captain is the only foreigner on board, with the rest of the crew being Saudis.
According to Al-Arabiya, the plane’s captain was the only foreign woman on board, while the rest of the crew, which numbered seven people, were all Saudi women.
The first entry for Saudi women into the world of aviation in 2019 with one help
In a statement, Saudi Arabia’s GACA lauded and praised the participation of women in the aviation sector in recent years.
GACA in Saudi Arabia announced in 2019 that on the first flight, the main crew will be an assistant pilot and a Saudi woman, as part of Vision 2030 changes.
