Saudi Arabia Stresses Dedication to Humanitarian Efforts at High-Level UN Meeting
The Assistant Supervisor General of Planning and Development at the Saudi Aid Agency KSrelief, Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, stated that Saudi Arabia has become one of the largest international humanitarian donors.
The Kingdom stressed its dedication to supporting global efforts, Arab News reported.
Speaking at the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs’ donor support group in New York, Al-Ghamdi emphasized the Kingdom’s strong advocacy for the integration of modern technology in humanitarian operations.
Therefore, the Kingdom seeks to boost efficiency and effectively serve vulnerable people, especially in conflict-affected regions.
In the same context, Al-Ghamdi also noted KSrelief’s pursuit to foster humanitarian aid, with a special focus on supporting women, children, and persons with disabilities.
He underscored the significance of planning humanitarian programs and tackling the unique needs of the most vulnerable populations around the world.
