Saudi Arabia Steals Spotlight as One of Top 5 Countries Participating at ISEF 2024
Saudi Arabia has obtained a prestigious position among the top five countries worldwide regarding the number of the participants at ISEF 2024, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Kingdom has successfully achieved a great progress with 35 seats for Saudi participants at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Exhibition (ISEF 2024), held in Los Angeles, United States of America from May 10 to 18. The Saudi students are currently showcasing advanced projects coving all areas of science, engineering, and technologies.
Commenting on the announcement, the Director of the Department of Research Programs and Innovation Development at Mawhiba Foundation, Engineer Anas Al-Hunaihan, stated that Saudi Arabia’s success in the fair is basically due to the support and patronage of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al-Hunaihan underscored that this progress contemplates the historic results accomplished in the last two editions 2022 and 2023. Furthermore, he expressed his gratitude to all the parents who exerted a lot of efforts during the whole process of events and workshops.
It is noteworthy that students nominated for ISEF 2024 have underwent intensive training by elite Saudi and foreign academic trainers before traveling to the United States of America. Representing King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), these students will join participants from 70 countries, taking part in the world’s largest and most renowned pre-college scientific research and innovation competition.
