Saudi Arabia Secures Mining Partnerships at Fourth Future Minerals Forum

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia has finalized a series of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and cooperation agreements with six nations during the Fourth Ministerial Roundtable, the cornerstone event of the Future Minerals Forum. This milestone underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to building international collaborations and accelerating the growth of its mining and minerals sector.

Representing Saudi Arabia, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Vice Minister for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid Al-Mudaifer signed the agreements. Their international counterparts included the ministers of energy and natural resources from Djibouti and Jordan, the United Kingdom‘s secretary of state for business and trade, and Zambia’s minister of mines and mineral development. Further agreements were concluded with Austria’s Ministry of Finance and France’s Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.
