Robust Recovery of Tourism Sector in Saudi Arabia
On a related note, the Saudi Ministry of Tourism provided an encouraging update on Monday.
The ministry reported that the tourism sector within the Kingdom has achieved an impressive recovery rate of 150 percent, a figure that measures the sector’s rebound compared to its status prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This remarkable recovery does not only indicate a return to pre-pandemic levels but also suggests significant growth and resilience in the face of global challenges posed by the pandemic.
The Saudi Ministry of Tourism’s report provides a hopeful outlook for the future of the country’s tourism industry.
Leading Middle Eastern Tourism Recovery
Saudi Arabia leads the Middle East with the highest tourism recovery rate. Consequently, its incoming tourism bounced back to 120 percent globally, surpassing pre-pandemic levels. Additionally, this marks both a regional and global success, underscoring the Middle East’s growing appeal in global tourism.
