Saudi Arabia opens military recruitment for women in diplomatic security
The Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Interior for Military Affairs announced the opening of admission and registration for the female component of the Special Forces for Diplomatic Security with the rank of “soldier.”
According to the ministry, applications for these jobs will be accepted from Saturday, April 8, until Thursday, April 13, at 10 a.m., via the Ministry of Interior’s (Absher – Employment) website at https://jobs.sa/.
In light of the historic accomplishments Saudi women have made since King Salman took over the reins of authority in 2015, they are experiencing an unprecedented period of empowerment.
Saudi women have been driving since June 24, 2018, following the Saudi monarch’s historic edict on September 26, 2017, permitting women to obtain an automobile driving license “following Shariah norms.”
