The Qiddiya Investment Company launched the Performing Arts Center, which is the first cultural landmark in the city of Qiddiya, to contribute in enriching the cultural sector in the Kingdom, reported Al Arabiya.
The centre is an important addition to the group of tourist attractions in the city, as it has a unique architectural design and adopts pioneering technology and an innovative artistic approach. It is expected to receive more than 800,000 visits annually.
Additionally, the centre is located on the edge of the slopes of the Tuwaiq Mountains and embodies the city’s commitment to promoting creativity and innovation by hosting more than 260 internal and external performances and events annually.
Furthermore, the centre includes 2,400 seats distributed over three theatres, each offers a 360-degree viewing experience. It blends kinetic and digital technologies. It also includes a theater that provides a stunning view of the lower plateau of the city, and another adjustable suspended theater that can accommodate 500 seats fixed from above.
The unveiling of the first cultural center in Qiddiya comes after the announcement of (5) entertainment and sports assets, which are the gaming and electronic sports area, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, the speed track, the Dragon Ball amusement park, and the Six Flags parks in Qiddiya and Aquaribia.
