The National Platform for Intellectual Property Rights Exchange “ATMM” project has been launched.
The Crown Prince launched this initiative in December 2022, according to Saudi Press Agency.

Mohammed Al Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Intellectual Property; Dr. Walid Al-Samaani, Minister of Justice; Engineer Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology attended the announcement of the project
Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources; Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi, President of “SDAIA” and many official figures also attended the event.
Objectives of ATMM Platform
The ATMM platform aims to stimulate creativity and innovation amid the growth of new technologies and creative industries. It achieves this by digitizing the trading processes of intellectual property assets, providing a safe space for creators and innovators.
This will enhance the investment of intellectual properties and benefiting from them with high transparency and reliability.
Services Offered by Platform
The ATMM platform provides multiple services. Firstly, this includes a national registry of service providers and licensed practitioners in intellectual property-related fields. Secondly, these fields cover valuation, mediation, and technical support for incubators and manufacturing labs. Finally, the goal is to ease transactions and facilitate access to services.
Implementation of Project
The project is an integral part of the National Intellectual Property Strategy. Key participants include the Saudi Intellectual Property Authority, owning the project, and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority as a strategic partner and digital enabler.
Lastly, this collaboration underscores the comprehensive approach to intellectual property management.
