Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to Gulf unity during a high-level telephone call on Thursday. During the exchange, the two Crown Princes issued a stern condemnation of recent “heinous” Iranian attacks targeting Gulf countries. They characterized these acts of aggression as a direct violation of state sovereignty and a grave threat to the safety of their peoples. Furthermore, the leaders warned that such escalations carry dangerous repercussions for both regional and international security frameworks.
According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Sheikh Sabah expressed a categorical rejection of any actions that seek to harm the Kingdom. They confirmed their support for all measures the Kingdom takes to protect its territory and national security.
President Abbas specifically reaffirmed Palestine’s rejection of any attack targeting Saudi sovereignty, according to the WAFA news agency. He also took the opportunity to praise the Kingdom’s consistent and historical support for the Palestinian cause.
