Saudi Arabia hosts a giant iftar table in Ramadan
The Saudi city of Al-Seih hosted on Wednesday a massive 500-meter-long Ramadan iftar table, which is one of Saudi Arabia’s longest.
Al Kharj Municipality organized the table in partnership with many volunteers and private sector businesses.
However, despite its size – which is undeniable – and the fact that many Muslims will break their fast at it, the table will not set any records.
Organizers have put together a special Ramadan program for participants. There will be a children’s theatre performance as well as a community presentation called “Ramadan in the Past.”
Moreover, five-day tournaments for children will be hosted in King Abdulaziz Park in Al-Seih city’s Sulaymaniyah area.
