Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Chairman of the Transport General Authority (TGA), Saleh Al-Jasser, and Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance transport cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the regular session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Transport, held on Monday in Cairo under Kuwait’s chairmanship, with the participation of transport ministers from across the Arab world.
The MoU aims to strengthen collaboration in the field of road transport and facilitate the exchange of expertise, experience, and technical and scientific information. It also supports joint studies and research between Saudi Arabia’s Roads General Authority (RGA) and Egypt’s National Institute of Transport.
