Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the burning of a copy of the Noble Qur’an by a crowd of racists in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, on Friday.
The Kingdom also stressed the need to consolidate the values of tolerance and respect.

Saudi Ministry of Foreign stressed the denunciation, in the strongest terms, of what an extremist group in Denmark had done.
A group of extremists in Denmark burned the Holy Quran in front of the Turkish embassy on Friday.
The Ministry condemned the burning of a copy of the Noble Qur’an by a crowd of racists in the Danish capital, Copenhagen.
It confirmed that this is an unacceptable inflammatory and racist act that provokes the feelings of Muslims, especially during Ramadan.
The ministry stated that “burning the Holy Qur’an is an act of dangerous hate and a manifestation of Islamophobia that incites violence and insult to religions.”
Additionally, it added that it cannot be considered a form of freedom of expression at all.
The Ministry stressed the need to stop such irresponsible actions that fuel violence and hatred and threaten peaceful coexistence.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry called on the international community to confront these actions and not allow them.
