Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and his delegation to addressed bilateral ties between the two countries.
The Saudi Press Agency informed the reception took place at Prince Faisal bin Farhan’s office at the Foreign Ministry branch in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region. The representatives also discussed the most prominent regional and international developments.
The reception was attended by the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, Engineer Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political and Economic Affairs Eid Muhammad Al-Thaqafi, the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Minister Plenipotentiary Hani Muhammad Moumina, and the Director-General of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdul Rahman bin Arkan Al-Dawood.
It is worth note that a few days ago, King Salman received a phone call from Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, during which they preliminarily addressed the subject of mutual connections. The president also took the opportunity to send the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques good wishes on the approaching of Eid al-Fitr, which King Salman thanked.
