Saudi Arabia: 51 new cases of coronavirus
The Saudi Ministry of Health announced the registration of 51 new cases of the emerging coronavirus.
The Saudi health spokesman, Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdali, told a press conference of several Saudi ministries that the total number of cases of corona is 562.
The spokesman confirmed that 19 cases of corona virus had been recovered so far.
The Saudi Ministry of Health stressed that no deaths from the Corona virus will be recorded in the Kingdom.
The spokesman warned against drifting under the illusions of a current treatment for the virus, noting that it is a scientific and medical process that takes time.
He noted that the Kingdom’s interventions in confronting the virus reduce the risks that society can face, highlighting the importance of everyone’s commitment to the instructions issued.
The spokesman mentioned that half of the new cases are for contacts.
In the same press conference, the spokesman for the Saudi Interior Ministry, Lt. Col. Talal Al-Shalhoub, announced that the curfew starts from seven in the evening until six in the morning.
He added that the implementation of the curfew will be followed from today and for 21 days.
The security spokesman urged citizens and residents to help the security men in implementing the curfew decision, explaining that the fine in the first time will be 10 thousand riyals, then it will double in the second time, and in case of repetition, the prison sentence will be issued for a period not exceeding 21 days.
