Saqr Al-Jazira Aviation Museum opens its doors for free on the founding day

Saqr Al-Jazira Aviation Museum participates in the celebrations of the founding day, through activities that will last for three days, starting on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

 

The events include many interesting paragraphs; Including special activities for children, and kinetic and interactive activities for visitors.

 

The museum’s activities also include a military show with military music, the Saudi Arda, and other performances.

 

On this occasion, the museum management decided to open the museum’s doors for free for visitors throughout the days of events from 4 pm to 11 pm.

 

It is noteworthy that this event comes as part of the initiatives offered by the Royal Saudi Air Force to participate in national events and celebrations.

 

Saqr Al-Jazira Aviation Museum is an air museum that recounts the historical development of the Royal Saudi Air Force, since its inception at the hands of King Abdul Aziz, to what it has reached in this era.

 

In its first phase, the museum consists of a covered main exhibition hall containing real aircraft that entered service with the Saudi Air Force and small models of some aircraft.

 

It also contains four display booths and a corner dedicated to the history of the Air Force.

 

In the upper part, the visitor gets acquainted with a group of weapons such as missiles, bombs, ranks, and military clothing.

 

The Royal Saudi Air Force Museum or Saqr Al-Jazira is located on the eastern ring road of the city of Riyadh, between exits 10 and 11.

 

At the museum entrance, a Lockheed L-1011 TriStar aircraft bearing the Saudi Arabian Airlines logo is visible from the ring road.
