SAMI wins quality certificate for aviation industries
The Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company (SAMI) has been awarded the AS9100 certificate, a worldwide standard for quality management systems in the aerospace and military industries.
SAMI, which the Public Investment Fund completely owns, has received AS9100 accreditation for meeting quality management system criteria for aerospace and defence.
With this new achievement, the Saudi Military Industries Company joins the elite of international companies that have obtained this prestigious certificate.
The Saudi company is considered the leading private national partner in the localization of military industries.
That comes after completing the verification of the company’s quality management systems and ensuring their compliance with the approved international standard AS9100.
Its operations are monitored by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) and the aerospace and defence industries.
The AS9100 certification is awarded after a thorough audit and review, including several on-site auditor reviews and assessments. Only a few companies around the world have obtained this certificate, compared to other international quality certificates.
