SAMI Signs Contract to Enhance Military Industries
The Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI), announced the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between SAMI Ground Systems sector and “Kia” company. The cooperation will be in the field of chassis for light tactical military vehicles, and military vehicles in general.
The agreement took place during the World Defense Exhibition 2024 in Riyadh.
According to the agreement, SAMI aims to benefit from constructive cooperation opportunities that contribute strongly to build and develop local capabilities. In addition, it also aspires to localize 50% of defense spending, one of the most prominent goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

SAMI Military Industries has since expanded its operations to encompass a wide range of defense-related activities. It also included the production of military vehicles, aircraft, naval vessels, and advanced weapons systems.

SAMI works to develop and build national capabilities, through the services, products and innovations that the company provides to support the readiness of the Saudi Arabia’s Armed Forces.
