SAMI Alsalam Aerospace Industries Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), has signed four major commercial agreements with leading regional and international partners—marking a significant step in strengthening its role within the commercial aviation sector and deepening global collaboration.
SAMI
According to a SAMI press release, the agreements were signed during the Dubai Airshow 2025 in the presence of Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA); Eng. Thamer AlMuhid, CEO of SAMI; and Eng. Sami Alnajem, CEO of SAMI Alsalam.
SkyFive Arabia
The first agreement, signed with SkyFive Arabia, covers the installation and testing of advanced Air-to-Ground (A2G) connectivity systems on Flynas aircraft. The program includes full installation, wiring, and ground testing for Flynas’s existing fleet, as well as 120 aircraft operated by other carriers. This marks the region’s first integration of in-flight A2G connectivity, positioning SAMI Alsalam as SkyFive’s exclusive partner for system modification and testing.
Strengthening its status as a regional MRO leader, SAMI Alsalam also signed an MoU with Jazeera Airways to develop heavy maintenance capabilities for the airline’s fleet. The partnership aims to enable advanced maintenance programs within the Kingdom, expanding SAMI Alsalam’s service portfolio and reinforcing regional cooperation.
ALPHASTAR Aviation
A third MoU, signed with ALPHASTAR Aviation, establishes a framework for strategic collaboration in private aviation MRO services. Moreover, the partnership will bolster SAMI Alsalam’s expertise, attract new operators to its expanding maintenance network, and provide specialized technical support for private jet operators across the region.
ARTS Aviation Asset Management FZCO
The fourth agreement, signed with ARTS Aviation Asset Management FZCO, focuses on developing comprehensive solutions for a range of aircraft types—including maintenance, supply chain support, and technical consultancy. This collaboration also lays the groundwork for future joint initiatives designed to enhance SAMI Alsalam’s service capabilities and operational efficiency.
Collectively, these agreements strengthen SAMI Alsalam’s position as a leading regional MRO provider and reinforce its contribution to Saudi Arabia’s growing aerospace ecosystem. Finally, they reflect the company’s commitment to advancing the Kingdom’s aviation sector through localization, knowledge transfer, and innovation—while empowering national talent in support of Vision 2030.
