Riyadh Zoo Welcomes Visitors with Stunning Entertainment Experiences
Riyadh Zoo has opened its doors to Riyadh Season’s visitors, offering an unparalleled entertainment experience and a fascinating wildlife showcase.
Spanning an area of 161,000 sqm in Al-Malaz District, the Riyadh Zoo displays the diversity of wildlife across 6 zones that simulate natural environments from different regions. These zones are Wild Adventure, Pink Lake, Enchanted Forest, The Swamp, Ape Escape, and Almalaz Bay.
Moreover, the zoo features over 1600 animals from 170 species, allowing visitors to observe animals in their natural habitats, in a unique educational and entertainment atmosphere, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Additionally, Riyadh Zoo offers a wide range of interactive experiences, including animal feeding and educational workshops for children. In this year’s edition, the zoo introduces new experiences, such as Elephant Experience which allows visitors to closely examine elephant’s behavior, and Giraffe & African Exhibit which connects giraffes and elands via an observation bridge that allows visitors to directly interact with the animals.

Moreover, Riyadh Zoo’s main stage fascinates visitors with daily shows, including Silly Brothers, Blue Clown Circus, Magician Show, and Bubbles Show. The zoo also features roaming performances across its various zones, such as Jungle Friends, Music Band & Drummers, and Flamingo Stilts, enriching the visitor’s experience and creating entertainment vibes that suit visitors from all age groups.
The zoo also provides a diverse range of services, including restaurants, food trucks and stalls. It also includes a shopping zone, entertainment spaces, and games for children.
Riyadh Zoo receives visitors daily from 9 am to 5 pm, accommodating up to 12,000 visitors. It is one of the most prominent attractions of Riyadh Season 2025, delivering world-class experiences that further solidifies Riyadh’s status as a regional and international entertainment hub.
