Request for Public Consultations Regarding “The Executive Rules for the Compulsory Licensing of Patents”

Based on the keenness of Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property to regulate, support, develop, sponsor, protect, enforce and upgrade intellectual property fields in the Kingdom in accordance with the best international practices, It is currently developing an executive rules for the compulsory licensing of patents, In accordance with its competence in proposing the laws and regulations related to intellectual property rights stipulated in the provisions of Article 3 of the organization of the Authority issued by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (496) dated 14/09/1439H.

Accordingly, Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property invites the esteemed public, concerned and interested in this area, to present their views on ‘ The Executive Rules for the Compulsory Licensing of Patents’, and to submit the written notes on this regard before the end of Tuesday 22/10/1440H (25/6/2019), by sending them to the Authority’s official e-mail saip@saip.gov.sa including the name of the person submitting the views.
