Red Sea Global (RSG) has welcomed the first direct European flight to the Red Sea International Airport (RSI), the company said in a press release.
In a strategic milestone that advances Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector and global connectivity, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030, the inaugural flight has established a direct link between Europe and the Kingdom’s Red Sea coast.
The flight departed from Milan through beOnd, the world’s first premium leisure airline, and landed at the Red Sea International Airport on November 12, 2025.
With this new route, European travelers have seamless access to The Red Sea and AMAALA – two unique destinations where they can immerse in luxurious and natural experiences.
The journey offers beOnd’s signature premium experience, as well as RSI’s world-class design in a meticulous blend of innovation and deep respect for nature.
The launch of the new route took place during TOURISE Global Tourism Summit in Riyadh, underscoring the collaborative spirit of the strategic partners driving this new era of luxury travel in the Kingdom.
On this occasion, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, John Pagano, said: “The launch of this direct route from Milan marks a defining moment for Red Sea Global and our destinations. It not only strengthens our connection with Europe, but also reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering extraordinary, luxury experiences.
Currently, The Red Sea destination includes nine luxury hotels open for guests, as well as Thuwal Private Retreat off the coast of Jeddah.
Earlier this week RSG announced the launch of the highly-anticipated AMAALA Triple Bay, which will feature six world-class luxury resorts in the initial phase, as well as a yacht club, marine life institute, state-of-the-art marina and bustling Marina Village over the coming weeks.
