Prince Khalid Al-Faisal delivers Kaaba’s cover to its chief guardian
His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region handed over the covering of the Kaaba to the chief guardian of the Holy House of God, Dr Saleh bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi, today. It was part of the annual custom that takes place every year to change the covering of the Kaaba.
Sheikh Al-Sudais said: “Since the era of the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, the Kaaba has received special care, and witnessed in this blessed era more attention and care.”
He added: “On the occasion of handing over the covering of the Kaaba, I express my highest thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his trusted Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman Al Saud. Kaaba represents a special place in the hearts of all Muslims.
I also extend my sincere thanks to the advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, and His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan, for their keenness on everything that would serve the Grand Mosque and its pilgrims.”
