President El-Sisi Meets Oman’s Sultan, exchanges views on bilateral relations
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Sultan Haitham Al Said, Sultan of Oman, have exchanged views on several international files of mutual interest during a meeting in Muscat.
In their conversation, he touched on the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and its repercussions on the region, as well as how the Arabs deal with the repercussions of this crisis.
This came during a meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, this morning, Tuesday, at the Al Alam Palace in the Omani capital, Muscat, with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman.
Egyptian-Omani ties are generally quite good thanks to the President of the Republic’s and the Sultan’s brotherhood and friendship, as well as their ongoing coordination and consultation on bilateral, regional, and global matters.
Omani officials continually stress how much they value the important role that Egypt and the President have played in settling tensions and disagreements in the area for the sake of the security and stability of the Arab world.
There are permanent high trends abroad that in the event of not receiving directions from Muscat concerning international issues, the Omanis should follow the Egyptian move, and support it.
