OIC condemns Houthi launch of 3 ballistic missiles targeting southern Saudi Arabia

Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s launch of three ballistic missiles aimed at civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia’s southern region, praising the Saudi air defenses’ efficiency and skill in intercepting and destroying them before they reached their targets.

The Secretary-General reiterated his call for the international community to take firm positions to end the Houthi militia’s cowardly threats of ballistic missiles and booby-trapped planes directed at civilians and civilian objects, reiterating the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s firm position that these practices are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian laws and norms.

Al-Othaimeen also underlined the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s support for all actions taken by Saudi Arabia to deal with the terrorist Houthi militia’s practices to maintain the country’s security and stability, as well as the protection of its inhabitants and residents.
