Najran Celebrates Eid Al-Fitr with Cultural Festivities at Al-Ukhdood Archaeological Site
Najran’s Heritage Commission has organized vibrant festivities at Al-Ukhdood Archaeological Site Visitor Center to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr 2025, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The event has grasped the attention of visitors and offered a captivating glimpse into the region’s rich cultural history.
The center features a wide range of heritage and craft corners, such as displays of traditional daggers, authentic outdoor hospitality, and a commemorative photo booth.
To enrich visitors’ knowledge, the exhibition provides cultural and heritage information regarding Najran, the archaeological site of Al-Ukhdood, and the stages of development throughout the ages.
Through the archaeological evidence at the site of Al-Ukhdood, it becomes clear that there was human settlement at the site during the period extending from the first millennium BC until the fourth century AD.
Therefore, the site served as a significant pivotal point in the ancient trade network.
The center is open to visitors throughout the Eid Al-Fitr holiday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
