Hira cultural district of Makkah is currently celebrating Eid Al-Fitr with various activities under “Makkah Greets Us” events, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Set to take place from March 31 to April 5, the initiative provides a vast array of recreational, cultural, and heritage activities suitable for people of all ages.
Through these activities, “Makkah Greets Us” highlights Islamic culture and historical landmarks of the region.
Organized by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, the event seeks to boost community bonds, underscore the historical and cultural significance of Makkah, as well as amuse people with a unique spirit of entertainment.
To this end, the event is open to the public and is free of charge.
The initiative will also showcase traditional folklore performances in 26 languages.
