Mixing COVID-19 vaccines appears to boost immune responses: Saudi Health Ministry
The Saudi Ministry of Health announced that mixing anti-Corona vaccines is safe and effective and that studies indicate that it gives stronger immune activation.
A spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health, Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, said during a press conference that mixing doses is safe and effective for the approved vaccines in the Kingdom
He pointed out that it gives a stronger stimulatory immunity to confront the mutations.
He made it clear that receiving the second dose is the only way to confront the mutations,
Al-Abd Al-Aali affirmed that it raises the level of immunity and activates it after the first dose, stressing that it is important to achieve community immunity.
He stated that there has been a positive decline in the curve of virus infections in the Kingdom during the past two weeks.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia witnessed the largest decrease in the number of daily infections with the Coronavirus since last January when the number of daily infections fell below 100 for the first time.
