Dr. Walid Al-Samaani emphasized the significance of digital transformation in the justice system. Additionally, he sees it as a key enabler for achieving efficient justice with the highest standards of fairness and quality.
International Conference on Digital Transformation
He made these remarks during the International Conference on Digital Transformation. The event also focused on the justice system in the Kingdom of Morocco. It was titled, “Digital Transformation of the Justice System: A Lever for Effective and Inclusive Justice.”
Continuous Development, International Experiences
Minister Al-Samaani urged Ministry’s staff to exert efforts to develop justice system. He highlighted the importance of learning from international experiences to foster innovation and achieve the Ministry’s objectives.
Support from Saudi Leadership
He noted the significant progress in the justice sector under Saudi Vision 2030. Additionally, this progress is backed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
Advancements in Justice, Digital Innovations
Al-Samaani showcased Saudi Arabia’s efforts in enhancing justice capabilities and digital innovations. Projects like “Electronic Litigation” and “Artificial Intelligence” were highlighted. Moreover, these projects facilitate fully electronic court sessions and predict judicial decisions, eliminating discrepancies in rulings.
Legal, Judicial Management Agreement with Morocco
Finally, in a related development, Minister Al-Samaani signed an executive program with his Moroccan counterpart, Abdel Latif Wahbi. This program will focus on legal and judicial management.
