Ministry of Interior Showcases “Sarem” Search, Rescue Aircraft at LEAP 2025
The Ministry of Interior is showcasing the unmanned “Sarem” helicopter. This aircraft is designed for search and rescue missions, medical equipment delivery, and casualty evacuation at the “LEAP 2025” tech conference. The conference is organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham and will run until February 12.
Visitors to the Ministry of Interior’s booth at the exhibition explored the operational mechanism of the “Sarem” aircraft, which is affiliated with the General Directorate of Civil Defense. The aircraft can fly for up to eight hours and is equipped with a high-efficiency jet engine capable of operating in temperatures ranging from 30 to 60 degrees Celsius.
