Ministry of Industry Launches Women in Mining Non-Profit Organization

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has announced the establishment of the Women in Mining Association, a new non-profit organization aimed at empowering Saudi women in the mining industry and strengthening their role in the sector’s ongoing transformation.

This initiative underscores the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the development of non-profit entities within the industrial and mining sectors, recognizing their critical role in advancing the Kingdom’s economic and social progress.

Saudi Arabia to inaugurate 1st women committee in mining

The association will focus on building women’s skills and capabilities aligned with the needs of the mining sector, fostering a more diverse and inclusive work environment. It will also promote women’s active participation in the industry’s growth.

Beyond workforce development, the association will back women-led entrepreneurial and innovative projects by providing both financial and technical support. It will champion forward-thinking solutions to help drive sustainability and innovation within the sector.
