
The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources granted 63 new industrial licenses in January 2025, while 103 factories began production, according to a report from the National Industrial and Mining Information Center.
The report, which tracks monthly industrial performance, revealed that the newly licensed projects represent a total investment of SAR 1.197 billion. These initiatives are projected to generate over 2,500 job opportunities across various regions of the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, factories that commenced operations in January recorded investments totaling SAR 900 million, with approximately 1,504 new jobs created. These figures underscore the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to expand its industrial base and the accelerating pace of factory operations.
