Crisis in Sudan

The people of Sudan have lived through difficult times that seemed like an eternity. They carried with them feelings of fear mixed with anxiety and terror, facing an unknown future. How hard it is to be forced to flee your homeland!

The year 2023 was not an ordinary year for the Sudanese. The country witnessed tragic events, the hardest and worst in its history, including a fierce war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces.

The conflict, which started in the heart of the capital, Khartoum, spread to over 60% of the country, resulting in thousands of deaths, victims, injuries, and the displacement of millions both within and outside the country.

Food Security In Sudan

Furthermore, Sudan is a country that heavily relies on agriculture for its food supply. However, the agricultural sector has been greatly affected by factors such as climate change, poor infrastructure, and lack of investment.

This has resulted in low crop yields and a limited variety of food available to the population. In addition, the ongoing conflicts and displacement of people have negatively affected the agricultural sector.
