KSA to suspend social distancing for domestic flights
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced the abolition of social distancing on domestic flights and work with the full seat capacity of aircraft in the tourist cabin, starting from the first of next September.
The authority stipulated that all passengers should be fully vaccinated with two doses, except for groups that are not obligated to take the vaccine (under 12 years old), and the excluded health cases according to what is issued by the Ministry of Health.
(GACA) affirmed the continued commitment to wearing a mask, urging the purification of hands, it Affirmed also the applying the rest of the preventive measures approved by the domestic and international flight protocols.
In its announcement, the authority indicated that this procedure came after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Health, in light of the operational and economic challenges faced by national carriers.
