Knowledge Knows No Age: 88-year-old Saudi Man Performs High School Tests among Youngsters
An 88-year-old Saudi man Ali Jadhmi has captured the attention on social media platforms while he was performing high school tests at the end of the first semester.
According to Gulf News, Jadhmi has gained great fame since he joined a high school in Jizan alongside colleagues who are as young as his grandchildren.
Known as Amm (uncle) Ali, he noted that he has not faced any challenge or difficulty in returning back to school since the primary stage.
In a TV interview, Jadhmi was asked about competing with his fellow young students at school. He indicated that he was a top class student at the middle school. Interestingly, he has a strong intention to continue and pursue studies at university.
“Old age is not an obstacle to study and gain knowledge. Take knowledge from the cradle to the grave, and from the inkwell to the tomb,” Jadhmi stated.
In the light of this, he advised old people not to stop learning “because knowledge knows no age”.
