Kingdom’s Weather for Friday

Arabian Gulf

The weather today in Saudi Arabia is partly cloudy with a chance of light rain and surface winds in parts of the Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and Northern Borders regions.

The National Meteorological Centre warned of severe winds on Riyadh governorates reaching speeds of 40-49 kilometres per hour, accompanied by low horizontal visibility, including the governorates of Douadmi, Kwaiti and Afif.

Surface Winds: South to southeast at a speed of 18-38 km/h. Wave Height: From half a meter to one and a half meters.

Eastern Province

Dammam and Al Khobar, situated in the Eastern Province, are known for their stunning waterfronts and vibrant culture. The upcoming week’s weather in this region is expected to be pleasant. The daytime temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F). The evenings will be mild with temperatures around 14°C (57°F).

Western Coast

Jeddah, a major port city along the Red Sea, attracts tourists with its beautiful beaches and historical sites. The weather forecast for the next week in Jeddah predicts temperatures between 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F) during the day, while nights remain relatively warm at around 18°C (64°F).

Southern Region

Abha, located in the southwestern region of Saudi Arabia, is famous for its cool, mountainous terrain. The upcoming week’s weather in Abha will offer daytime temperatures ranging from 12°C to 22°C (54°F to 72°F). Nights can be quite chilly, with temperatures dropping to around 5°C (41°F).

Northern Borders

The northern border regions, such as Arar, experience colder temperatures during the winter months. This week, Arar’s weather is expected to be chilly, with daytime temperatures between 8°C to 16°C (46°F to 61°F) and even colder nights.

Recommendations

Additionally, for outdoor activities, it’s a great day with clear skies, but remember to wear sunscreen due to moderate UV levels in some areas. Hydration is also key due to low humidity in certain regions.
