Kingdom of Humanity: Saudi Arabia Ignites Hope with Massive Gaza Central Kitchen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) officially inaugurated a massive central kitchen within the Gaza Strip today. This strategic initiative provides essential food security for the Palestinian people during the holy month of Ramadan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In cooperation with the Saudi Centre for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief launched this facility as a core part of the national fundraising campaign. The kitchen currently produces 24,000 hot meals every single day to support families during the blessed month of Ramadan 1447 AH. Consequently, this project serves as a vital lifeline for thousands of residents who face severe food shortages and displacement.
Furthermore, the project specifically targets displaced families living in the areas of Deir Al-Balah and Al-Qarara to maximize its impact. Organizers aim to distribute a total of 3.6 million meals throughout the duration of this extensive humanitarian relief operation.
Supporting the Local Economy and Health Standards
Beyond providing immediate hunger relief, the central kitchen actively strengthens the local community by employing forty Palestinian workers in Gaza. This employment initiative provides stable income for local families while the facility simultaneously adheres to the highest international health standards. Moreover, every meal undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure that the vulnerable populations receive nutritious and safe food every day.
KSrelief Supervisor-General Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah emphasized that this project represents a continuation of the Kingdom’s extensive humanitarian bridges. Saudi Arabia maintains its leading role in alleviating the humanitarian crisis by utilizing land, sea, and air routes for aid. Ultimately, this kitchen underscores the Saudi commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups, including women and children, during these difficult times.
