King Salman Sends Verbal Message to President of Comoros

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a verbal message to President Colonel Azali Assoumani of the Union of Comoros, emphasizing the importance of bilateral relations and exploring avenues for strengthening cooperation between the two countries. The Advisor at the Royal Court, Ahmad Bin Abdulaziz Qattan, delivered the message during a meeting with President Azali at the presidential residence in Moroni, the capital of Comoros.

 

Qattan extended greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister to President Azali, the government, and the people of Comoros. Additionally, Qattan congratulated President Azali on assuming the rotating presidency of the African Union and expressed well wishes for his upcoming responsibilities.

 

In response, President Azali sent greetings and expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and explored opportunities for further development across various sectors. President Azali affirmed his country’s full support for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh. Moreover, he warmly welcomed the idea of holding the “First Saudi-African Summit and the Fifth Arab-African Summit” in the Kingdom later this year.

 

Qattan expressed gratitude on behalf of the Saudi government for the support received, highlighting the solid and distinguished relations between the two countries.

 

The Saudi Ambassador to Comoros, Dr. Atallah Zayed Al-Zayed, also attended the meeting.
