King Salman receives US Secretary of State to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received, Thursday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
During the reception, the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries, the overall regional and international events, the position of the two countries thereof, and the efforts made towards them were reviewed.
The US Secretary of State conveyed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the greetings of President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, as he conveyed his regards to his Excellency.
The reception was attended by: Princess Rima Bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban.
On the US side, the meeting was attended by John Abi Zaid, the United States Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, And Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs David Schenker, Military Adviser Lieutenant General Ricky Waddell, Official Spokesman for Foreign Minister Morgan Ortigas, and Deputy Head of Mission Matina Strong.
