King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC) has won the 2024 Zimam Best AI Program Award, recognizing its advancements in AI, operational excellence, and workforce development in digital healthcare.
As stated in a press release from KFSHRC, the Centre for Healthcare Intelligence played a pivotal role in securing this award. The Centre has developed more than 20 AI-driven applications aimed at enhancing diagnostic accuracy, improving patient flow, and streamlining resource management. These innovations have greatly accelerated patient care and personalized treatment, while also optimizing hospital operations.
Zimam Lifetime Digital Health Award
In addition to the AI award, Dr. Osama Alswailem, Chief Information Officer at KFSHRC, was presented with the Zimam Lifetime Digital Health Award in recognition of his exemplary leadership in the hospital’s digital transformation efforts. This achievement further underscores KFSHRC’s commitment to advancing healthcare with cutting-edge innovations.
