Jeddah to Welcome AFC Champions League Elite 2026 Finals

Jeddah is set to host the Round of 16 and final stages of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025–2026 season, bringing heated football competitions to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea city.

Running from April 13-25, the much-awaited tournament will take place at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium, with fans encouraged to book match tickets via the Ahlan digital application, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

On April 13 and 14, Jeddah will host the West Region Round of 16, featuring a single-leg format transitioned from the traditional home-and-away system.

Participating clubs include Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Al-Ittihad; Qatar’s Al-Sadd and Al-Duhail; the UAE’s Al-Wahda and Shabab Al-Ahli; and Iran’s Tractor.

Following the knockout-stage draw at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, anticipation is high for the tournament finals, which will be held in a centralized format from April 16 to 25.

The quarterfinals are scheduled for April 16, 17, and 18, followed by the semifinals on April 20 and 21. The competition will culminate in the final on April 25 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.

The quarterfinal draw has set the stage for several high-profile matchups. The winner of Al-Hilal vs. Al-Sadd will play Japan’s Vissel Kobe, while the winner of defending champions Al-Ahli vs. Al-Duhail will face Malaysia’s Johor Darul Ta’zim.

Additionally, the Al-Ittihad vs. Al-Wahda winner will take on Japan’s Machida Zelvia, and Thailand’s Buriram United will meet the winner of the Tractor vs. Shabab Al-Ahli match.

All final-stage fixtures will consist of seven single-leg matches. This decisive format is designed to intensify the competition and ensure an exciting character for this edition of the tournament.
