
António Félix da Costa delivered a commanding performance to win the Jeddah E-Prix, the fifth round of the 2026 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The event was organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport, highlighting top-tier electric racing talent.

Representing Jaguar TCS Racing, da Costa showcased outstanding energy strategy and race control to secure victory. Sébastien Buemi of Envision Racing claimed second place, while Oliver Rowland finished third for the Nissan Formula E Team.

In qualifying, Edoardo Mortara of Mahindra Racing secured pole position, with Jake Dennis representing Andretti Formula E lining up alongside him on the front row. Da Costa began the race from third on the grid before advancing to take the win.
Following the Jeddah round, the championship heads to Madrid for round six, then to Berlin for rounds seven and eight. Additionally, the calendar continues across renowned destinations including Monaco, Sanya, Shanghai, and Tokyo, before concluding in London this August with the final two rounds.

Finally, the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing role in hosting premier international sporting events focused on sustainability, blending cutting-edge technology with competitive racing to advance clean energy innovation worldwide.
